Led by the dynamic Executive Chef Jan Ruangnukulkit, Michelin Selected Thai restaurant Saffron unveils a season-driven tasting menu of reimagined classics, where fragrant herbs and the freshest Thai produce weave into a vibrant symphony of textures and flavors.  

The journey begins with a salad that captures the essence of Southern Thai cuisine. Kaffir lime leaf, green mango, pomelo, and ginger flower are brought together with crunchy rice, toasted coconut, and the umami depth of Saffron’s homemade Khao Yum Sauce and delicate prawn frost.  

A highlight is the Wagyu Beef Cheek Soup, inspired by the legendary Nang Loeng Palace recipe and refined into a subtle, sophisticated expression for today’s palate. The stir-fried dish pairs mildly sweet cowslip creeper with juicy white bitter melon—a gentler and sweeter counterpart to the familiar green variety.

The finale pays homage to Thailand’s beloved national dessert—coconut ice cream. A homemade coconut sorbet is served in its shell with a colorful array of toppings such as fresh mango cubes and pandan rice balls—a refreshing close to a remarkable journey.
