The first guest chef of the series is Chong Ko Wai from Malaysia. With a slew of awards under his belt, Chef Ko Wai joins forces with Chef Hin to bring guests eye-catching desserts that are inspired by the colorful flowers and seasonal fruits of spring. Chef Hin was trained at the prestigious L’Ecole Lenôtre in Paris and L’Ecole in Tokyo. He was also the Silver winner in the 2017 C3 Chocolate Competition in North America. In last year’s Constance Festival Culinaire, he even took the coverted award for “Best Artistic Piece” and was the winner of  “Pierre Hermé Trophy”.

Chef Ko Wai's artistry is evidenced by the impressive recognitions he has won on the global stage. He was runner-up at the Mondial Art Sucres, and took the 6th place at the Coupe De Monde. In Malaysia, this revered master contributes to the cultivation of young talents as Pastry Lecturer at the Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts (APCA) for eight years.
